BoardBoost provides a shortlist of 5-7 BoardReady candidates from our TalentVault that meet your specified criteria - all within your desired timeframe.

Initiation | The first consultation to determine:

  • Candidate Profile: Defining the ideal skills, experience, and characteristics you are seeking in new board members.

  • Cultural Fit: Discussing the company culture and the values that should be reflected in the board composition.

  • Governance Needs: Reviewing your governance structure and identifying any gaps or areas for improvement.

  • Budget & Compensation: Aligning on budget considerations and compensation packages for potential board members.

Discovery & Sourcing

  • Develop search strategy: Outlining the approach for sourcing candidates, including utilization of the TalentVault and our strategic partner network.

  • Source potential candidates: Identifying candidates that align with the client’s desired criteria.

  • Screen candidates: Reviewing resumes, TalentVault profiles, and professional backgrounds to create a shortlist of 5-7 candidate names

  • Begin outreach: Engaging with prospective candidates to gauge interest and determine availability.

Evaluation | A second consultation with our team to:

  • Review shortlist: Presenting our finalized shortlist of 5-7 candidates for the organization to review and assess further.

  • Gather feedback: After presenting the shortlist, client provides feedback on the candidates, which may include:

    • Any additional questions or concerns regarding specific candidates

    • Alignment with strategic priorities and board needs

Introductions

  • Facilitate warm introductions: Connecting the desired shortlisted candidates with the client to continue conversations regarding the board role and interview opportunities.

  • Check-in: Conducting periodic follow-up with the client and shortlisted candidates to ensure a smooth process and to address any concerns.
